DTI is proud to present our newest access control system. This new system expands upon the technologies we've created using pic microprocessors. We've developed a system that incorporates a web camera to act as a doorbell for our building. When a visitor presses our doorbell, an alert pops up on all of our PC's requesting authorization for the visitor to be allowed in. The system also allows us entry via prox-cards that are checked against a database. All entries are recorded for auditing. Please read more and see the videos by clicking here.

Digital Tadpole is proud to announce that we have partnered with Proximity Systems to create an innovative solution to aid in the optimization of operating a hospital facility. Proximity Systems is a company that designs custom hospital security cabinets for computer equipment and prescription medicine. Together, Digital Tadpole and Proximity Systems have worked to create a new product to improve patient privacy, hospital security, and personnel efficiency.
Currently, hospital personnel must manually re-set locking codes for each security cabinet room-by- room in the entire facility in order to add or remove a user. Through the ingenuity of Digital Tadpole's development team and Proximity System's knowledge of their industry, we have been able to solve this laborious problem.
The new hardware design for the electronic locks and the new security software enables hospital personnel to control the system over a network from a central location. From a central control panel, it is possible to make automatic lock code modifications, manage users, and view reports of time-stamped door open/close data. This elegant solution makes it possible for hospitals to provide the best care possible while protecting the patient's privacy and preventing the theft of prescription drugs or expensive equipment - without ever having to undergo the lengthy, repetitious, and expensive process currently required.
To learn more about this exciting new development, please visit the Proximity Systems site to read the press release about the LAN-Based Electronic Lock Management System (Patent Pending).
